Shopper Insights Seminar
July 2011
This long-awaited annual event brought together leading insights professionals from brand owners and agencies to provide a detailed understanding of major aspects of shopper insights based on their experience of working with shoppers and the in-store environment.
Black & Decker presented 'Using Shopper Insights to Shape & Form P-O-P Innovation' and Coca Cola explained 'Sustainability in Shopper Marketing.' Shoppercentric offered 'An Understanding of the Client Perspective' and Bezier detailed their approach to 'Information and Education in the Shopping Process.' Evolution Insights talked about the link between 'Shoppers & Social Media.'
Autumn POPAI Meeting + Lighting, Sound & Movement Showcase

This well-attended event at De Montfort University in Leicester offered insight into the latest trends, innovations and industry intelligence from leading exponents of P-O-P.
Speakers included Arla Foods who explained, 'The Challenge of Shopper Marketing in the Dairy Fixture' and The Co-operative who presented, 'How to Deliver the UK's Largest P-O-P Rollout.' The meeting concluded with an insightful talk from The Sound Agency entitled, 'Sound Affects!'
The Lighting, Sound & Movement showcase hosted by De Montfort University's 'Retail Lab' provided a look at the product, techniques and aesthetics developed to enhance and influence the shopper experience.
Demonstrators included GRDD, Fusion Manufacturing, Rocket Production and The Sound Agency.
Winter POPAI Meeting + POPAI Sustainability Showcase
November 2011
Record numbers of industry professionals attended this event which combined our annual Winter POPAI Meeting with our first Sustainability Showcase and exhibition in conjunction with the POPAI Sustainability Standard.
Invaluable learnings were gained from Kellogg who explained in detail 'P-O-P & the CAP Code' and United Biscuits who presented 'Visibility - the Key to Unlocking Sales in Convenience.' Other presentations included the results from a very recent primary research study 'Multi-channel Shopping' and our 'P-O-P Postcard from Poland.'
Contributing bite-size presentations on the sustainable credentials of their products/materials were 3Form, Bright Green Technology, Dufaylite, Invicta Plastics, Megaman, Pyramid Display Materials, Robert Horne Group and SMP.
