What Can Be Entered

The POPAI Awards recognise excellence in the P-O-P market, a market worth in excess of £1bn per annum in the UK and Ireland. The Awards are designed to maximise the opportunities for entry, to show the strength of the industry and provide maximum value to all those involved.

The POPAI Awards are open to any designer or producer of P-O-P material, advertising/marketing agencies, services companies, brand owners or retailers; members and non-members.

A display with a run of 50 units or more designed or manufactured by a UK or Ireland producer for either an international or domestic customer may be entered. Displays designed or manufactured in the UK or Ireland for export are also eligible.

Displays with a run of less than 50 units may be entered into the new 'flagship, bespoke and short-run' category.

For the digital content and network categories, entries must have operated in a retail environment for a minimum period of two weeks between 1st March 2009 and 1st April 2010. Entries must have been produced and/or supplied by a UK or Ireland provider for either an international or domestic customer.

Entries must have been produced and shipped between 1st March 2009 and 1st April 2010. However, yearly programmes such as automotive campaigns scheduled for year 2010 models are eligible.

Entrants must sign to the effect that they hold copyright for the entry or have permission from the holder to enter the awards and that the copyright holder does not require recognition.

All entries will be graphically displayed at the In-Store Show at Olympia, London between 29th-30th June 2010 and online permanently in the POPAI UK & Ireland Awards Gallery along with a truncated case study.

Entries will also be placed in the Global Creative Gallery - a global resource from POPAI North America that promotes the best in P-O-P as a benefit to POPAI members. The Gallery showcases the best displays and offers an opportunity for companies to be promoted around the world.
