summer holidays, retailers often go
into overdrive with back-to-school
promotions.
Now a major seasonal
event, it is increasingly spotted
in-store before the end of term,
followed by a big push in August.
While uniform obviously features
highly on most back-to-school
shopping lists, shoes, books, bags,
sportswear and stationery are also
key items.
