The unique and subsequently highly successful ‘Digital Store’ was launched at the 2010

The mock-up ‘store’ showcased excellence within Digital Media in Retail and
was designed to provide attendees with a greater understanding of the
latest innovations and solutions available in digital retail communications.
Upon entering the fully merchandised store, visitors were able to explore first hand
different aspects of digital media in retail including the use of touch screen signage,
interactive kiosks and leading content solutions. Inside, the 'store' was split to depict
different retail sectors such as C-store, electrical and entertainment and a Deli counter –
designed to give visitors the sensation that they were in ‘live’ retail environments.
The store provided a full interactive digital experience; an experiential space, highly
immersive and packed full of inspiration.
Visitors were also be able to speak to a dedicated member of the POPAI team who was
on hand to answer questions, provide impartial advice and direct interested visitors to
companies whose products and services were showcased inside. Then, as they left
the store, visitors were able to talk to individual representatives from companies who
provided them with dedicated booths located around the outside.
