Shopper Seminar (Dublin)

POPAI's shopper seminars provide an invaluable forum for retail marketing professionals to gain unique best practice insight into recent retail marketing campaigns and in-store innovations, as well as to share, debate and network with their peers.

The event in Dublin will open for registration at 8:30am and feature time for networking, an update from POPAI and a number of presentations from leading brands and retailers.

Hear From :

Rory Johnston, Global Display Development Director at Mars Wrigley, will be presenting "Enhancing impulsivity through display technology"  which will focus on :

  • Definition & background of displays used by Mars Wrigley
  • Brief introduction to the Impulse Category
  • Leveraging the incorporation of technology into display fixtures & unattended retail to drive sales    

Also as part of our digital focus we will have a presentation full of insight from Roamler : "Digital In-store: The shoppers' perspective." by John Noel O'Leary, Business Development Lead Ireland, at Roamler.

 

Brendan Boyle, Creative Director at TapCreative will be presenting “Digital Communications in Brand Experience” which will focus on :

  • A snapshot of what’s happening in Ireland
  • What is the potential
  • What as a brand/retailer you can do now

 

The second part of our session in Dublin will continue our ongoing support on all aspects of sustainability within the display industry,  and we will host a Sustainability Bulletin, which will include a presentation from :

 

 

Ian Scouler, Managing Director at Material Solutions, will present, "Retail displays: sustainable alternatives for advertising and increasing surfaces lifespan"

  • Honeycomb paper boards as a replacement for all plastics
  • Importance of the one-material POP/POS (Recyclability)
  • Refacing surfaces instead of replacement
