POPAI Ireland is a group of professionals from all over the Irish market with a common goal.

As part of POPAI UK & Ireland, they exist to represent the interests of POPAI members across Ireland, provide services specific to them and offer information from the wider world of POPAI.

Our Objectives

By delivering quality events and services and producing relevant, up-to-the-minute intelligence for the Irish P-O-P market, POPAI Ireland's aims are:

  • To raise awareness of POPAI and P-O-P
  • To attract, maintain and motivate the membership
  • To educate the membership in the best practices of P-O-P

The POPAI AGM and Meeting on 31st January 2008 at the SCI, London saw all of the working groups present a review of their achievements throughout 2007 and make clear their intentions for the P-O-P industry for the next 12 months and beyond.

What Ireland Needs

The P-O-P industry in Ireland requires development in the form of education and training, practical P-O-P design expertise and the sharing of international learnings.

Objectives for POPAI in Ireland include significant growth of the membership, improved impetus re. the POPAI Awards 2008 and increased attendance at events.

With the introduction of new Chairman, Ciaran FitzGerald, greater emphasis will be placed on good PR, industry connections, advertising and canvassing.
