What was the overall purpose of the network?
SummaryThe purpose of the network was to:1.explain the 3G technology and services to customers in a simple and engaging way2.enable users to explore the variety of content available on the 3 network, with a focus on its benefits to the customer 3.transform a visit to one of their stores into a fun experience for customers, rather than simply a commercial transaction4.gain greater promotional agility with handset and tariff offers than would be possible using the print process for posters and other point of sale material.Context3 had first begun using screens back in 2004 when they did not have a store network, but were selling through independent retailers and their '3 at Superdrug' sub stores. 3G technology was still very new and unclear to the majority of the UK population, and the variety and wealth of content on the 3 network was not being communicated to customers effectively. We were engaged by Retail Experts Williams Lea on behalf of O2 as part of their overall point of purchase advertising.Each execution was designed to provide maximum impact on the high street to passing traffic - making these stores stand apart from their peers in a very competitive market.The use of technology ties in strongly with the end product and resonates with key target demographics.

What was the overall purpose of the network?
Having recently created an online booking system for events and activities, Center Parcs' were looking for a partner to provide village kiosks so that customers could book activities or change existing ones on-site.In addition, digital signage screens located at key points around the village were required to show footage of activities and demonstrate what was on offer so that visitors could see what they want to do before they book. The signage also displayed a scrolling list of real time availability for all activities to help visitors plan their activities with minimal disruption to their day or need for booking days ahead.
