What is the technical specification of your entry?
An origami artist was hired to create objects that represented a to do list on the phone. The content was shot in stop-motion photography style on location and later composited in Adobe After Effects at 1024 x 576px resolution. The Nokia 6620 slide retail video is a loop played at retailers globally. A master English language template is generated and a toolkit for localisation by country-specific agencies. The video had to work with or without audio, as that could not be guaranteed in all locations. It had to be designed in such a way that it could be easily translated and localized for markets around the world and was distributed as a kit for local agencies to utilize.

SummaryThis looped film contains a selection of the clips shown on a screen network to customers in KFC restaurants in Poland and Central Eastern Europe, with the aim of enhancing the brand and creating a memorable experience for diners - a youthful and successful demographic. The clips were produced in Adobe After Effects at a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD 720p). Final renders were then converted for play out on a PC platform designed by AmRest's IT department and a local systems integrator. Summary3's Christmas campaign for 2008 was centred around the concept of 3 granting customers '3 wishes' in the form of special offers, deals and savings. Sales and gift purchases would be encouraged by creating a feeling of seasonal goodwill in its stores. As part of this campaign the concept of turning the in store AV screens into 'Wishing Machines' was developed in association with 3's POS agency, Bright Blue Day. Bright Blue Day designed a 'Wishing Machine' panel that was fitted over the AV Screen with magnetic tape, with a circular aperture (just like a conventional washing machine) through which the content created by Realisation was displayed. The Harajuku Lovers karaoke booth is measured as 2 meters long x 1.8 meters wide and 2.2 meters high. The booth was constructed using laminated MDF with vinyl covering and light boxes externally. Internally, the booth was carpeted had LED spot lights and a LCD screen and cupboard below to contain the server as well as a height adjustable seat. The Karaoke application consisted of a 32" touch screen, Bluetooth adapter, PC speakers and Windows based PC. The application was written specifically for this promotion.

The brief was to find ways to attract more people in-store and then to have a compelling digital platform to promote and entertain customers within the store environment. The Store of the Future programme looks at several aspects of the store environment and digital content is a key part of the marketing mix. All elements work together in terms of colour, positioning and promotional message.Digital content is broadcast through the window display and POS screen areas. Content is updated weekly to coincide with new releases, sale items or new service launch campaigns.All content is created to compliment the brand, other POS and to create a positive impact. Animation is broadcast across a range of resolutions and screen sizes and includes high definition for the more recent stores, such as Oxford Street.
