In 2013 the industry is estimated to have a turnover value of £1.4bn (€1.65bn) a year in the UK and Ireland. The industry itself remains highly fragmented with hundreds of companies involved in various stages of P-O-P advertising and shopper engagement related activities. From research and insight to design, prototyping, manufacture and assembly of P-O-P displays, as well as printing, distribution, implementation and compliance monitoring.
The 2013 Industry Study provides an in-depth analysis of trends, attitudes and behaviours amongst all major stakeholders in the P-O-P supply chain including:
1. Current and forecast spend trends by P-O-P type and category amongst retailers and brands
2. Revenue, market and investment trends amongst P-O-P designers, manufacturers and installation companies
3. Views on client relationships, procurement models, P-O-P globalisation, trends in materials use during production and sustainability issues
