This case study presentation highlights how EE and Paragan
Global Brands are working together to deliver impactful sustainability across
retail.
As part of the “New EE” brand launch, EE is reimagined its
430 stores to be more experiential and environmentally responsible. With Net
Zero targets set for 2041 and a commitment to recyclable store materials, EE is
embedding sustainability at every touchpoint.
EE’s retail execution partner, Paragon Retail Brands shares
aligned goals with a Net Zero target of 2040 and a proven framework to reduce
emissions across production, logistics, and procurement. Together, they are
delivering store solutions that minimise waste and maximise circularity.
In-store fixtures now feature recycled and recyclable
materials, FSC-certified wood, and energy-efficient lighting. Waste from
single-use plastics has been cut by switching to biodegradable packaging, and
previously non-recyclable display materials have been replaced with sustainable
alternatives.
Key Takeaways:
-
Aligned
sustainability goals between brand and supplier drive success
- Circular
materials and responsible sourcing are central to store design
- Waste
and carbon impact reduced across visuals, logistics, and fixtures
- Retail
sustainability requires innovation and cross-functional partnership
This project shows how collaboration and shared
responsibility can lead to meaningful, measurable sustainability in retail.
