Jonathon Fitzgerald

Co-CEO, Mamas & Papas

Jonathon Fitzgerald has been Co-CEO, of Mamas & Papas since December 2014. Half way through a three-year turnaround plan driving a new phase of growth targeting millennial customers with tailored store formats, new lifestyle collaborations and a focus on in-store experiences.

Prior to joining Mamas & Papas, Jonathon held commercial board positions at Target Australia and Matalan.

Russell Smith

Channel Marketing Manager, Channel Marketing and Communications, EE

Russell oversees all indirect marketing that takes place within the Dixons Carphone retail estate. Before working for EE in telecommunications, Russell worked in both brand and shopper marketing roles for a number of large FMCG businesses specialising in soft drinks and sports nutrition. These businesses include Britvic Soft Drinks, GlaxoSmithKline and Innocent Drinks.

Russell’s area of expertise is how major retailers can utilise digital technologies in their stores to both enhance the experience for their customers and drive commercial performance. It’s this interest that has fuelled the progress of the interactive EE brand experience in Carphone Warehouse stores over the last 18 months.

Craig Donovan

Senior Manager Vendor Relations, Western Union 

Craig has been at Western Union for four years. He was originally recruited to the Strategic Sourcing team for Marketing Services to build on his FMCG and Automotive sectors experience but is now part of the global supply chain team and is responsible for managing the outsourced vendor relationships for Europe.

With a vast network of agents and a variety of consumer channels the supply chain team are constantly looking for improved ways of supporting the business demands and directing key vendors.

Brian O’Casey

Founder, Off Beat Donut Company

Brian has worked in the FMCG business in Ireland, UK and Europe for over 25 years’. He has been instrumental in the development of some of the most successful and innovative food solution concepts in the convenience retail market in Ireland. Concepts such as Pierre’s Hot Food to Go, Cuisine de France bakery, Seattle’s Best Coffee and Tim Hortons Coffee and Donuts concepts.

Up ?until 2015 Brian was European Head of Consumer Branded Concepts for Aryzta Plc before he founded Offbeat Donut Co in early 2016.

 

David Dalziel 

Creative Director, Dalziel & Pow

Trained in 3D design, David has expanded those skills in the last 35+ years to take a broader view of design and its role in building brands. David co-founded the design consultancy Dalziel & Pow in 1983. In his capacity as Creative Director, he specialises in a range of design issues, from environments to communications. He is instrumental in overseeing the successful interpretation of a client’s brief and its transition, from concept to reality.

D&P has built a reputation for excellence in design, combining creativity and operational knowledge to deliver consistently successful projects for its clients on a global stage, including Mamas & Papas, Primark, Argos, John Lewis, Next, David Jones, Jigsaw, Samsung, Timberland and O2.

Ivana Kosorok

Senior Account Director Vividbrand, Publicis UK 

Ivana is a marketing and advertising professional with more than 13 years of experience in the industry. Her background is multidisciplinary and very integrated with extensive experience leading Global clients such as IKEA, Nivea, Eucerin, Volvo, SC Johnson to mention a few, but also a strong telco experience leading Samsung mobile and EE accounts in the UK market.

She’s passionate about stats, facts, insights and how people, ideas and brands talk, connect and interact. Finding innovative solutions and utilising technology to support clients in their business challenges and generate growth opportunities is her drive.

Peter Ward

Founder / Director, Shoppar

Peter has worked in the retail display industry for 20 years as a product designer, production manager and head of sales working with large brands.   A frustration with the lack of data on how the success of POS campaigns was measured led to the founding of a retail analytics company - Shoppar. He is now heading up a team of software developers, data specialists and content designers delivering disruptively accurate, fast and affordable retail analytics tools to measure all aspects of POS campaigns. Shoppar captures live customer interactions and delivers next generation content to get greater customer engagement and increase sales.

Jen Anderson

Consumer Channel Marketing Manager, Philips Lighting

Jen has been at Philips Lighting for just over a year, with previous trade and consumer channel roles held at technology companies Canon, RIM, Samsung and Orange. She currently manages all lighting products into the consumer channel.

Jen is currently working on major projects with retailers launching and managing Philips smart lighting product Philips Hue into the wider consumer areana, both instore, online and within voice activation platforms. Her most recent project has been activating a product integration and supporting campaign with ITV’s The Voice. Jen is passionate about great consumer experience and breaking down the barriers to purchase for smart products.

James Jean-Louis

Group Commercial Director, Chargemaster

James has over 25 years’ of automotive experience, and has been at the forefront of the electric vehicle charging industry since 2009, when he set up Charging Solutions Ltd. In 2014, Charging Solutions became part of Chargemaster Plc and he then became Group Commercial Director.

Key responsibilities for James at Chargemaster include all commercial activities, including major accounts and OEM’s where we are now official charging partner at most manufacturers, including Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Nissan and Jaguar Land Rover. Export opportunities are also being developed by James, with Chargemaster equipment supporting plug-in vehicles across Europe, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean.

Ben Taylor

Retail Experience Director, TRO Retail

Ben has been at TRO for 7 years in total, amassing a broad range of experience across the marketing industry, delivering experiential focused projects across the UK and Australia, running a retail business, and developing retail concepts.

Ben now heads up the Retail Experience focused arm of TRO, working with clients across markets and sectors to deliver projects, and bring brand stories to life.
