acetal

Acetal, also known as POM or by the brand name Delrin, is an engineering plastic that has a number of favorable properties including high stiffness, high resistance to scratches and wear, a low coefficient of friction, a high heat resistance, and high water resistance properties. Acetal can be injection molded, it machines well and is relatively easy to process. Typical applications are sliders and pushers for sprung shelf systems outside of these uses it is uncommon in P-O-P applications.
